Space will be very limited. We have posted courses in a variety of cities on the Red Cross website as it's search function is limiting but will only be running in Hamilton for the majority of 2021. We have done this to let you know we are out here as many people are saying they are having trouble finding a course anywhere. All certs that would have expired in Covid lockdown period have expired but can still be renewed until 12/21

Thanks for your interest! These courses are my niche and expertise. Emergency Medical Responder is an 80+ hour course. It rarely runs 80 hours straight but is broken down in 2 parts. Part 1 is First Responder/EMR part 1 and is 40 hours of training, $599. Then within a year of completing that you may do EMR part 2/EMR upgrade which is another 40 hours and another $599(plus we have an ambulance rental fee that gets determined later, $20-40 typically). Both together give you your 80 hours and full EMR certification. So pick dates for part 1 that work and dates for part 2 that work and sign up for your full EMR course! I do a FR/EMR 1 every month and an EMR 2/EMR upgrade every 2 months or sooner if warranted by interest. Below is the general information I usually send out as the first step, let me know if you have any other questions or interest and want to sign up. It also includes other upcoming dates. There is a discount if you sign up for both at the same time and the price is $1149. And all prices include all applicable taxes already-so the price is the price
This information is for First Responder which is commonly called EMR part 1.
I am a former Paramedic and put on one of the most thorough and fun First Responder courses. I provide Canadian Red Cross certification which is WSIB and nationally recognized. You get FR/EMR certification and CPR-BLS( formerly and equivalent to CPR-HCP ) with AED and oxygen administration certification upon successful completion. You also get a First Responder/EMR textbook, access to online elearning workbooks and skills checklists and summaries.
All equipment will be provided during the course but there is an option to purchase and keep a blood pressure cuff and stethoscope for $99 used $139 new

Days are 8am-6pm approximately (40+hours total).

Eventually I will need your full name, address, email and phone number either before the course or on the first day of the course. This is submitted to the Canadian Red Cross so they have an official record of your certification. They will email the certification card directly to you usually within 1 business days after the course! Confirmation of completion is available earlier if needed.
